An interview with Dr. Franklin Rose, MD, at Utopia Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa

Q: Can you tell us about your experience in the spa & medical industry and why you decided to open your business?

A: I was located in St. Luke’s Towers for many years, since its inception in 1986. When my senior partner of many years retired, I moved into Uptown Park area out of the medical center, because it was just so much more convenient for our patients. I must say that our patients really prefer this location where they can literally drive within 10 feet of our entrance, rather than go through the whole labyrinth of a serpentine nature of parking in the medical center.

In terms of the medical spa side of our practice, patients really appreciate the opportunity to come in for about an hour, and leave feeling very rested and rejuvenated with the many non-invasive services we offer including medical grade facials, various medical laser rejuvenations and laser hair removal procedures, as well as the full range injectables including Botox and Juvederm.

Q: How did you design the look and feel of your business and what kind of vibe do you want to give your customers when they walk in the door?

A: We really try to welcome our patients and have a very open and comfortable feel to our waiting room. Of course, we protect patient confidentiality in every case.

Q: What is a “crowd favorite” at your business? Most popular item or service?

A: Botox, Juvederm, and laser hair removal!

Q: What is your number one goal for your customers to achieve after visiting your business? What will make your customers come back time and time again?
